CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
At AliDesign.com, we strive to ensure a transparent and fair experience for all our customers. Please read the following policies regarding order cancellations, returns, and payments carefully.
1. Cancellation Policy
Standard Orders: Customers may cancel an order free of charge within 24 hours of placement, provided it has not yet been processed or confirmed.
Post-Confirmation Cancellation: If a cancellation request is made after the 48-hour window or once production/processing has commenced, any deposit paid shall be non-refundable. This serves to compensate for material costs and labor incurred by the manufacturer.
Right to Cancel: AliDesign.com reserves the right to cancel any order, in whole or in part, due to product unavailability or logistical constraints. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
2. Returns and Replacements
Inspection Upon Delivery
Mandatory Inspection: Customers are required to inspect all products upon delivery in the presence of the shipping representative. If any damage or discrepancy is noted, the customer has the right to refuse the delivery immediately.
Implicit Acceptance: Signing for the delivery or allowing the delivery personnel to leave constitutes an acknowledgment that the product was received in good condition and is free from visible defects.
Eligible Return Windows
Shipping Damage: Must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
Visible Defects or Missing Parts: Must be reported within 48 hours of receipt.
Manufacturing Defects: Claims for hidden manufacturing defects can be submitted within 14 days of receipt.
Return Conditions
Ready-Made Products: May be returned within 14 days if they are in their original condition and packaging, including all accessories. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
Restocking Fee: If a ready-made product is returned without defects (change of mind), the customer will be charged a 15% restocking fee plus the actual round-trip shipping costs.
Custom-Made Products: Items manufactured to specific customer dimensions or designs are strictly non-returnable unless a significant manufacturing defect is confirmed.
3. Payment and Deposit Policies
To ensure the commitment of both parties, the following deposit rules apply:
Orders over EGP 10,000: A 15% deposit is required.
Orders outside Cairo & Giza: A 15% deposit is required regardless of the order value.
Custom/Bespoke Orders: A 50% deposit is required. This deposit is non-refundable in the event of a change of mind or cancellation after production starts.
4. Delivery and Additional Charges
Floor Climbing Fees: Deliveries requiring lifting beyond the fourth (4th) floor are subject to additional service charges. These fees are calculated based on the number of technicians required and the width of the stairwell. Fees must be approved by Customer Service prior to delivery.
Visual Discrepancies: * Accessories: Small hardware/accessories may vary slightly from website images based on market availability in Egypt, without compromising quality.
Colors: Minor variations in color (e.g., for carpets or fabrics) may occur due to studio lighting and screen resolutions.
5. Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
Custom-made or modified products.
Products without original packaging or missing components.
Personal items (e.g., pillows, bedding, mattresses) for hygiene reasons.
Products damaged due to customer misuse or improper assembly.
Requests made after the 14-day eligibility window.
6. Refund Process
Required Documentation: To initiate a return, you must provide three (3) clear photos and one (1) video documenting the issue.
Inspection: Returned items will be inspected within 7 business days of arrival at our warehouse.
Administrative Fees: If a return is accepted for a non-defective item, the following transaction fees will be deducted from the refund:
3% for payments made via Visa/Mastercard.
5% for payments made via ValU.
Timeline: Confirmed refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the cancellation or inspection approval.
